WAG - This is a post

Media Basics is a required class for a bachelor's degree in journalism at MU. It is the easiest class I have ever had in college. It seems to be even easier than Freshmen proseminar or my criminology class from over this summer.

It mainly centers around crafting a website.

Here is the initial work stemming from the in-class efforts.

Actually, I missed the first day of class (that's what happens when a month long class starts in the middle of the semester and one goes a few days without checking their planner), but I quickly caught up with and surpassed many people in the class.

I'm not sure whether that says more about the pace of the class or the amount of experience I have in this area.

Having dabbled with hypertext before, I find it interesting that I've already done a lot of this stuff (making things appear simple in comparission to what I usually do when I settle down to blog).

Anyway, it should get steadily more sophiticated as things go along.

Also, please excuse the stilted, John-Doe lines that appears there. It should be easy to tell the difference between the words I am required to type and the additional text I throw in to save my sanity.

Enjoy.
